Business Trash and Recycling Collection Services - Waste Management / GI Industries provides commercial trash collection services in Thousand Oaks. Recycling Market Development Zone (RMDZ) - If companies manufacture products using recycled materials, they are eligible for low interest State loans. The RMDZ program is designed to help stimulate economic growth and create markets for recycled materials. Ventura County Materials Exchange (VCMAX) - The VCMAX program is a free service that lists furniture, construction materials, commodities, etc., which are available or no longer needed by area businesses or non-profit organizations. To participate or for more information, call 289-3120, or visit the Ventura County Materials Exchange (VCMAX) website at www.vcmax.org/ Also, visit the California Materials Exchange (CalMAX) website at www.ciwmb.ca.gov/CalMAX, which offers a free service to businesses and organizations to help find alternatives to disposing unwanted and valuable materials. Businesses, schools, and nonprofit organizations can utilize CalMAX to search for available materials.
