| | ExplorersLaw Enforcement Exploring is an exciting way for young men and women to explore the dynamic field of law enforcement. As a Law Enforcement Explorer you will participate in the following functions: patrol ride-alongs, community service, traffic control, station work, fingerprinting, and search and rescue. Explorer meetings are held at the Thousand Oaks Police Department on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Anyone who is interested in joining the Explorer Program can show up at the meeting with no prior reservation needed. If you are between the ages of 14 and 20 years old, maintain a 2.0 GPA at school, and have a good driving record, you can be eligible to become a Law Enforcement Explorer. Contact East County Police Services by email at Greg.Webb@ventura.org for further information or apply online at http://www.vcsdoptions.org/explorers.php
