Preview Local Artist's Work at “Prelude to the Festival" Hosted by The Lakes

For three consecutive weekends, beginning August 21-22, The Lakes will host "Prelude to the Festival."  Events will feature the artwork of several prominent Conejo Valley visual artists who will be participating in the 7th Annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival.  

Showcased will be art from the Festival's 2010 Honorary Chair and famed PGA golf painter, Scott Medlock and that of actress, artist, and 2007 Honorary Festival Chair Jane Seymour.  Raffle prizes were generously donated by Scott Medlock, The Old Course, Jane Seymour, Kris Cowboy, and Pacific Night by Ron Souza, Westlake Village Art Guild member.

Attendance is free.  Prelude hours will be 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays & 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sundays.  Come and enjoy a glimmer of what can be seen at the Arts Festival taking place on September 11 and 12 at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, and The Lakes.

Prelude to the Festival is sponsored by Thousand Oaks Arts Festival, Caruso Affiliated, and the Westlake Village Art Guild.
