City of Thousand Oaks Open Juried Art Show is held annually in October at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery.  Open to all residents of Ventura County and communities near the Ventura County/Los Angeles County boundary, the show is juried by Cultural Affairs Commissioners and judged by a local, professional artist.

Cash prizes and ribbons are awarded in several categories and one piece is selected for purchase to be added to the City’s nearly 200-piece Municipal Art Collection.
